IMPORTANT AIRPORT SECURITY INFORMATION
As you pack and prepare for your trip, keep in mind the security guidelines for all carry-on items.
- All liquids, gels and aerosols must be in 3-ounce or smaller containers. Larger containers are not allowed.
- Each traveler is allowed 1 quart-size, zip-top, clear plastic bag. All liquids, gels and aerosols must be placed in that bag. Gallon size bags or bags that are not zip-top are not allowed.
- The plastic bag must be removed from your carry-on and placed in a bin for X-ray screening. X-raying separately allows TSA security officers to more easily examine your items.
- There are exceptions for essential liquids including prescription and over-the-counter medicines.
- TSA is allowing one liquid hand sanitizer container up to 12 ounces per passenger in carry-on bags until further notice. These containers will need to be screened separately, which will add some time to the checkpoint screening experience.
